KATHUA, Sept 6: J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena IPS today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered approx. 4.26 grams Heroine like substance from their possession at Rampur Rasool area of PS Billawar.
Today police Party of P/S Billawar led by SHO Billawar Insp Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SP Upper Kathua Sh Aumir Iqbal and SDPO Billawar Sh Neeraj Padyar established a special naka at Rampur Rasool. Two unknown persons were coming from Ramkot towards Billawar on Motorcycle bearing Reg. No. JK02CA- 1942 and roaming in suspicious circumstances, on seeing police party the unknown persons tried to fled away from the spot but alert Police party did hectic efforts and apprehened them, While questioning they disclosed their name as (1) * Gafur Ali S/O Mohd Mussa R/O Dumma Majalta tehsil Majalta Distt.Udhampur (2) Mukesh Kumar S/O Prem Chand R/O Jagwal Tehsil Majalta Distt. Udhampur. During their personal search 04.26 grams of Heroine (chitta) like substance and two phones recovered from their possession.
In this regard a case FIR No. 136/2025 U/S 8/21/22/25/29/NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Billawar . further investigation is underway to unearth the forward and backward linkages involved in the supply chain of drug supply in the area. |
