Udhampur, Sept 7: Captain Tushar Mahajan memorial Trust Udhampur led by Founding Chairman Dev Raj Gupta today organised a relief donation drive to support families affected by the recent flash floods in udhampur district .
The relief consignment included essential items such as Tripal / tents , dry ration kits including flour , rice, cooking oil , Salt ,sugar , Potato nutri , Haldi , Mirch tea etc were provided to help families recover from the disaster..
These items were provided for floods victims of different villages of Gandala and kirmich Mansar panchaayats .
Sarpanch and panch of both villages were present on the occasion .
Speaking at the event, trust chairman said that trust is committed to vision of service to humanity. In these testing times, it is our duty to extend support to those affected by the floods. He expressed solidarity with the distressed families, assuring them every possible help for rehabilitation. He added more such help will be provided to other affected people of udhampur as and when villages were connected with road network .
Prominent trust members present on the occasion were Asha Gupta , Satish Chopra , Ranjit Parihar Shewatketu singh and Darshan Kumar.
