Jammu, Sept 8: Apni Party’s District President Jammu Urban, Abhay Bakaya, today visited the flood-affected Shabad Colony in Ward Number 71, Sidhra, to assess the damages caused by the recent floods.
During his visit, Bakaya interacted with the local residents and expressed shock that no official or concerned authority had visited the area so far.
The residents informed him about their worsening condition as their gates remain closed and the approach road to the locality has been severely damaged due to the floods.
Appealing to the administration for immediate intervention, Bakaya urged the concerned departments to provide urgent relief and restore accessibility to the colony. He assured the residents of all possible help and reiterated Apni Party’s firm commitment to stand by the people in every difficult situation.
“Apni Party has always raised the voice of the people and stood by them in testing times. We will continue to highlight and address the genuine concerns of citizens,” Bakaya said while reassuring the residents of his support.
