Kalakote, Sept 8: Medical camps were successfully conducted today in various outreached areas of Health Block Kalakote, including Village Kalka Mathyani, Khawas, Solke, Dhalyote, Barwari, and other flood-affected regions. The camps were organized under the overall supervision of Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, Director of Health Services, Jammu; District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, Mr. Abhishek Sharma (IAS); and Dr. Manhar Rana, Chief Medical Officer, Rajouri, to provide essential healthcare services to residents impacted by the recent floods. The camps offered free medical consultations, diagnostic services, and medicines to those in need. The events were personally monitored by Dr. Iqbal Malik, Block Medical Officer (BMO), Kalakote, who ensured that healthcare services were delivered efficiently and reached the maximum number of beneficiaries. The healthcare teams actively screened patients, provided necessary treatments, and offered guidance on preventive measures to safeguard against waterborne and other diseases. These medical camps were widely appreciated by local communities, with many expressing heartfelt gratitude for the prompt assistance and care provided during this challenging time.
