Jammu, Sept 9: ammu Sanskriti School, Jammu has once again etched its name in the annals of sporting excellence with a stellar performance at the CBSE Cluster XVIII Athletic Meet 2025–26, hosted by Partap World School, Pathankot and held at the Sports and Arts College, Kapurthala Road, Jalandhar.
The spirited Sanskritians showcased grit, passion, and determination, clinching an impressive tally of 8 medals – 2 Gold, 3 Silver, and 3 Bronze – reaffirming the school’s reputation as a breeding ground for future champions.
Among the proud medalists, Yuvraj Singh (U-14, Class 8th) emerged as the star performer, winning double gold in the 100m and 200m sprints, and earning the prestigious title of Best Athlete of the Meet. Gaurav Sharma (U-19, Javelin Throw) secured a silver medal, while Krishna Saini (U-17, Javelin Throw) bagged bronze. In the track events, Anubhav (U-17, 200m) clinched silver, whereas in the field category, Vishav Partap (U-19, Discus Throw) brought home another silver. Adding to the tally, Akshita (U-19, Shot Put) and Shrawan (U-19, Shot Put) displayed commendable strength and technique, earning bronze medals each.
The spotlight of the championship was undeniably Yuvraj Singh, whose lightning-fast sprinting not only secured double gold but also earned him the coveted Best Athlete of the Meet, a moment of immense pride for the entire Sanskritian fraternity.
This remarkable success was made possible under the inspiring mentorship of Amardeep Singh, PGT PHE & Athletics Coach, whose relentless guidance and training played a pivotal role in preparing the athletes for such a competitive platform.
Expressing immense pride in the achievement, Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice-Chairperson, congratulated the winners and lauded their commitment. She emphasised that this victory is not only a sporting milestone but also a reflection of the school’s vision of nurturing holistic growth, resilience, and excellence in every child.
With this glorious victory, Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu has once again proven to be a powerhouse of talent, dedicated to cultivating champions who embody the true essence of sportsmanship, determination, and discipline.
