| IGNOU conducts centralised Induction for learners of certificate programmes | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 9: The Regional Services Division (RSD), in coordination with the EMPC (Electronic Media and Production Centre) conducted a centralised Induction Meeting through Gyan Darshan for students enrolled in the Certificate Programmes of July 2025 admission cycle. The Induction Meeting was organized LIVE today through Gyandarshan, SWAYAMPRABHA Channel, YouTube Channel, FaceBook Live, etc in which a number of learners from Regional Centres across the Country participated.
There was a one hour presentation on various aspects which are normally covered during the Induction meetings by the RCs/ LSCs. Around 20 students of certificate programmes were invited to Regional Centre Jammu who attended the Induction Program and also interacted with the faculty at the New Delhi Headquarters in a two-way audio-video interaction mode.
The purpose of this initiative is to have a wider and uniform outreach to students and give them customised information which would help them to complete the Programme in time. The participating students termed the program as informative, interactive and useful.
Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director, Regional Centre Jammu termed this initiative of the University as path breaking and said that this will go a long way in reducing the grievance rate among the learners. |
