| Various institutes celebrate Mothers day | | | Early Times Report

Humming Buds, preschool of Model Academy celebrated Mother’s Day at its B.C Road & Residency Road branches. Around sixty mothers of the preschool from ‘O’, ‘A’ & ‘A+’ levels were invited to celebrate and participate in various events organised on the occasion.
Principal, Model Academy Rupa Gupta extended a warm welcome to the mothers & described ‘mother hood’ as most wonderful & important gift of God to women. In her address she saluted the spirit, unwavering focus, sense of duty, sacrifice & the overwhelming love & affection that mothers give to their children. She said that the Mother’s Day celebration would serve as a small token of appreciation for their efforts towards each & every element of our society.
Dr. Adit Gupta, Joint Director, MIER congratulated the faculty members for putting in valuable efforts for celebrating Mother’s Day in this way. In his message on this occasion he said that we should admire the role of a mother in every stage of life as it is a fact that a mother is the caring person throughout the growing stages of a child.
To Celebrate this day, a craft competition was organised in which mother and child worked together as a team. This was followed by poem recitation in which the children from humming buds performed in a very enthusiastic manner. The Principal appreciated the creativity of the mothers and their children as a team. An interactive session with the mothers was also held to know their experiences as a mother. In this session they shared their experiences with staff and students of the preschool. In the end, children presented gift items prepared by them to their mothers. The results of winners of the competition were announced and the winners were awarded with prizes for their unique presentation and performance. Usha Gadoo , Vice Principal, Model Academy, Vasundhra and Ms Aparna incharge Humming Buds had arranged the whole programme.
Mean while Kidzee Anand Nagar Bhori celebrated Mothers Day at school premises. Child psychologist Dr. Suman Thussu was the chief guest on the occasion. Chairman T. R Mahajan, Managing Director Parneesh Mahajan, Administrator I. D Gandotra, Principal Manikarnika Sharma and Coordinator Sunita Kaul along-with Staff members were present.
Special counseling session for mothers was held in which Dr. Suman Thussu gave tips to mothers for child handling besides they were taught about developing good habits among the children. ‘When God Created Mothers’ short story was also told to mothers. Mothers appreciated school administration for organizing such programme.
