TRG Trust provides relief to flood victims at Miran Sahib | | |  early times report
Jammu, Sept 10: -The T R Gupta Public Charitable Trust, Jammu’s well-known charitable society, is continuing with its decision to reach out to the flood victims and organised a relief camp at Gurudwara in Indira colony, Miran Sahib in collaboration with the Sub District Magistrate, R S Pura. These families are affected by the flood in Balole nallah. Besides the Trustees, the SDM R S Pura, Ms Anuradha was present. On behalf of the Trust Dr Ashok Gupta distributed relief items to 64 persons. These items included mattresses, bed sheets and blankets. The inmates of the Gurudwara and temple were also provided with relief. The victims thanked the Trustees for their help in this hour of distress. Dr Ashok Gupta apprised the people that the Trust is very much moved by the devastation caused to property of the people in affected areas and its Chairman T R Gupta, a well-known philanthropist of Jammu & Kashmir has directed the Trustees to provide relief in consultation of the local administration. He also apprised the people about the other activities of the Trustee including medical and social help to the needy and free medical check up at its multi- specialists Polyclinic set up at marble market with diagnostic amenities. The other Trustees present on the occasion included Rajinder Motial, Naresh Gupta, Kailash Langer and Er. Ajay Sabharwal. Manager Raman Pargal and other revenue officers of the area were also present and helped in organising the camp. Last week, the Trust provided relief to about hundred flood victims of Rajeev colony.
