Dogra demands compensation to the deceased of the chishoti disaster

Jammu, Sept 10: The Senior Leader of the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee.Adv.Suresh Kumar Dogra said that Then Life in J&K in general & Jammu in particular has been disrupted due to heavy rains, floods and landslides. Rivers are in spate due to continuous rain in the state.
There is a scene of devastation everywhere. Low-lying areas are flooded. Several roads and bridges have been washed away do to this. Meanwhile A big disaster occured in the shape of Cloud burst at Michael Chandi Yatra in Chishoti Padder in which many families lost their loved one as well as kin & kiths & Many families are still waiting for their family members,lost during disaster & it has been noticed that 90 percent of the deceased & lost persons belong to a under privileged community i.e.Jheewar Community who has no leader sitting on the Constitutional post in J&K to raise their voice.
Hon'able CM of J&K Jb. Omar Abdullah on his visit to the spot,announced Rs 2 lakh to each deceased & 50 thousands to injured & in a subsequent mishappening in the Vaishno devi Yatra,32 people have died due to landslide on Vaishno Devi temple route. Many people have been also injured in this accident.Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha During this,announced compensation 4 Lakh Compensation to deceased & The Disaster management Deptt.announced Rs 5 Lakh compensation to each Deceased kashmir,it was Rs 9 lakh in total & in the other hand only Rs 2 lakh to deceased of Chishoti disaster."
Adv.Suresh Dogra raises his voice on the dual & biased justice between both the victims,Dogra further added that that LG of J&K Sh.Manoj Sinha should also come forward to look into the matter & must be brought into the Notice of Ministry of Home Affairs to enhance in the Compensation & this disaster must be declared National Disaster must be dealt accordingly.
