| Law School holds literacy camp at Sallan | | | Early Times report Kathua, May 08- With a view to generate awareness at the grassroots level, the Law School of University of Jammu organized a Legal Aid/Legal Literacy Camp for the students of 5- year Law Integrated course at village Sallan in Hiranagar, Kathua today. In all, 65 students of Law integrated course participated in the legal literacy camp. The students interacted with the villagers and disseminated the knowledge about Panchayati Raj and Roshni Acts as to how they can derive the benefits of these Acts. Besides, the villagers were also educated about the loan facilities available under Self Employment Schemes of the Directorate of Rural Development, Horticulture, Khadi Gramudyog etc. Students made the villagers aware about the provision of free legal services for the people belonging to ST, SC and BPL categories.
