Jammu, May 8- In order to carry out the preventive maintenance work on 220 KV and 132 KV Bus Bars and Jumpers of the Grid Station, the power supply to several parts of Jammu district including Trikutanagar, Gandhi Nagar, Panjtirthi, Channi Himmat, Sainik Colony, part of old city, Akhnoor and Jourian area; besides Rajouri and Poonch districts shall remain affected on May 10 from 6 am to 10 am.
The PHE, MES and other essential loads shall also remain affected during the shut down period.
Similarly, due to urgent work at 33 KV G-2 & G-3 feeder emanating from 220/120/33 KV Grid Station Gladni, the power supply to Gandhi Nagar, Rail Head Complex, Jammu University, Vikram Chowk, Bahu Plaza Complex, Nanak Nagar, Shastri Nagar and adjoining areas shall remain affected on May 10 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
According to Chief Engineer, M&RE, Jammu and Superintending Engineer, Electric Maintenance and R.E. Circle I, Jammu, the shut down shall be subject to fair weather conditions.
