Thannamandi, Sept 11: The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Government Degree College Thannamandi in co-ordination with the District Development Administration Rajouri organized an awareness programme on Mission Yuva here on Wednesday.
An impressive capacity building programme on Mission Yuva 4.0 – Udyam Jagriti organized under the Patronage of Prof (Dr.) Farooq Ahmed, Principal of the College and Syed Abid Hussain Shah, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Thannamandi was Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. Ashaq Malik, Nodal Officer of Mission Yuva Program in College co-ordinated the event.
In a comprehensive lecture, Dr. Ashaq Malik deliberated upon the aim, objectives and perspectives of Mission Yuva among students and faculty members of college.
He highlighted various provisions, schemes and eligibility criteria to start or accelerate any enterprise.
While speaking on the occasion, Abid Hussain Shah emphasized upon the maximum participation of students and youth in making their peers aware about this flagship program.
Prof. Farooq also underlined an ocean of entrepreneurship opportunities created through Mission Yuva and how youth can get benefit by becoming job providers rather than mere job seekers. All the participants downloaded the mission Yuva app in their mobiles, got registered and assured to take this program to the last person of society
They also submitted feedback at the end of this highly interactive capacity program.
A large number of students and faculty members participated in the event.
