| Salaries of 3 absent employees withheld in Mahore | | | Early Times Report
Reasi, May 8- Responding to the complaints of general public of Malai area, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Mahore, Mohammed Hanief Malik conducted a surprise raid at Government Middle School, Malai falling in the jurisdiction of Education Zone, Mahore and found three teachers absent from their duty. In all five teachers were posted in the school.
The absent teachers were Abdul Majid, Mohammed Farooq and Mohammed Aslam.
The SDM directed the Zonal Education Officer, Mahore to conduct a detailed enquiry into the matter and seek explanation from the absent teachers. He also ordered to withhold their salaries till further orders.
Hanief asked the government teachers and employees of various departments to be punctual and always serve with zeal and dedication for the upliftment of the people of the hilly and far-flung district of Reasi. He warned that strict action under rules shall be initiated against those employees who remain absent from their duties.
