EPFO conducts seminars on PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana

JAMMU, Sept 11: The Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), Regional Office Jammu, conducted focused awareness seminars on the PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana at Yougal Sons, Jammu as part of its ongoing outreach initiative to educate and engage with establishments on the transformative potential of the yojana.
The session was led by Sh. Jatin Gupta, Accounts Officer and Sh. Aman Dhandhi, Accounts Officer, who delivered detailed presentations outlining the objectives, key benefits, and implementation strategy of the PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana. The yojana, a flagship initiative aimed at job creation and formal workforce expansion, is expected to benefit 1.92 crore first-time employees and aims to create over 3.5 crore new jobs across India, with a strategic thrust on the manufacturing sector.
Highlights of the Seminars Included:
A deep dive into the structure and purpose of the PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana.
Benefits for both employers and employees under the scheme.
Operational procedures and compliance framework.
The vital role of employers in fostering formal employment and ensuring social security coverage.
These seminars saw enthusiastic participation from 20-25 key stakeholders, including top management and HR officials from the establishment. Notable attendees from Yougal Sons, Jammu included Bharat Kakkar, GM, Tarsem lal, Accounts Head, Vijay Kumat, Visual Merchant, Rakesh Kumar, Sales Manager and other members were also present who praised EPFO's efforts in demystifying the scheme and facilitating dialogue between the organization and establishments.
They also elaborated by saying that this could pave for a long way in providing the right attitude, employment generation and right benefit for the people to whom it is meant to be. Lots of business houses would enroll for this and as time goes by, benefits will be there for individuals as well as stakeholders.
Participants appreciated the interactive format and clarity of information shared, recognizing EPFO's commitment to empowering employers and employees through timely awareness initiatives. The establishment "YOUGAL SONS" has also registered for the PMVBRY Scheme with the help of EPFO Officials on the spot for availing the benefits of the scheme.
EPFO Regional Office Jammu reiterates its commitment to holding more such sessions to build greater awareness and ensure seamless adoption of welfare-centric schemes. The organization remains focused on strengthening the bridge between policy and practice, in pursuit of inclusive employment growth and financial security for India's workforce.
