Ladhak Buddhists celebrates Buddha Purnima with full enthusism . There were children in multicoloured dresses with smiles on thier faces and were moving ahead with their parents and religious teachers in the processios while chanting the mantras. The procession went around the main street of Leh and finally gathered at the Polo ground to listen to the surmons delivered bu the relious teachers. There were grand celebrations at different gompas of Leh which were lit with diyas and flags.
