ramgarh, Sept 15: To commemorate the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Government Degree College (GDC) Ramgarh organized a "Quiz Competition on the Life and Philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi" and under the esteemed patronage of the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol. The event aimed to meaningfully engage students and deepen their understanding of Gandhiji’s philosophy and his immense contribution to India’s freedom struggle and social transformation. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Shivali Panjgotra, who warmly welcomed all participants and highlighted the importance of Gandhian values such as truth, non-violence, self-reliance, and social harmony in today’s world. She emphasized the role of youth in carrying forward these timeless ideals for building a just and peaceful society. The quiz was conducted among four student teams, each comprising two members, and featured a series of informative and thought-provoking questions centered around Mahatma Gandhi’s life, principles, and impact. Dr. Shivali Panjgotra conducted the quiz proceedings, while Dr. Anjana Raina meticulously recorded the answers. |
