Ramban police recovers 30 lost mobile phones | | | Early Times Report RAMBAN, Sept 15: With the aim of extending public service and assistance to citizens, J&K Police Ramban has successfully recovered 30 lost mobile phones (including 01 Apple iPhone 12) with an approximate purchase value of Rs 5,00,000/-. These phones were reported to be missing in different Police Stations of District Ramban by their legitimate owners. The tracing out of the lost property was carried out by dedicated team of Cyber Police Station Ramban headed by PSI Arun Singh using technical expertise and various other means. After due verification, the recovered handsets were formally handed over to their rightful owners. On receiving their lost mobiles, the owners expressed gratitude towards Ramban Police. Notably these Mobile Phones were recovered from different areas of J&K UT and other States. The general public has widely appreciated the initiative of Ramban Police. Pertinently Cyber Police Station has traced, recovered and restored, 150 lost/missing mobile phones, amounting to a cumulative value of approximately Rs 23 lakh since the establishment of Cyber Cell in the District in the year-2024.
