| Defy boycott call; vote in large numbers, Bhim to Youth | | | Early Times Report Baramulla, May 9- Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman of JKNPP, while intensifying campaigning for his party candidate from Baramulla parliamentary constituency today, called upon the youth to show courage and wisdom by defying the police curfew and boycott call given by the separatists and turn our in large numbers and vote for the party’s candidate Iqbal Jan, presently languishing in Tihar Jail Delhi. Addressing several election rallies at Boniar, Uri, Sheeri, Singpora, Rafiabad and other places, Prof. Singh pleaded that the people from both the sides of Jammu and Kashmir should be allowed to travel with their respective passports. He favoured exchange of cultural, political, parliamentarian delegations between the two sides of Jammu and Kashmir turning LoC irrelevant. Prof Singh also favoured general amnesty to the Kashmiri youth in jails and withdrawal of cases against Syed Sallahuddin and Ammanullah Khan to give a message of forgiveness to all the youth who were misled by circumstances during past 15 years. Syed Rafiq Shah, MLC, Farooq Ahmed Dar, Provincial President, Nasreen Hamid, a media expert also addressed these meetings and appealed the electorate to vote for the party candidate.
