| JKNPP demands general amnesty to prisoners | | | Early Times Report Srinagar May 09 Jammu Prof. Bhim Singh Chairman JKNPP releases party manifesto for Baramullah Parliamentary Election this morning in Srinagar. The highlight of the manifesto is the demand of general amnesty to all the prisoners and undertrials in valley. Speaking on the occasion of the release of party manifesto the party chairman prof Singh claimed that the JKNPP has brought a revolution in the electoral battle in J&K by fielding a Youngman, 27, resident of Bandipora, a graduate from Kashmir University, languishing in Tihar Jail Delhi for the past three years under false charges. The highlights of the party manifesto includes granting general amnesty to all prisoners, undertrails, and those who left the state under pressure like Syed Sallahuddin, Sri Amman Ullah so that atmosphere of tension and uncertainty and hate should end; Exchange of political, cultural, sports, students delegation of the two sides of J&K; Rehabilitation of orphaned children, and those who suffered due to militancy through special job and work arrangement; Social security for unemployed youth and work loans; Two state universities, Kashmiri-Cultural and Dogri-Cultural Universities shall be set up in Kashmir and Jammu respectively. Prof. Bhim Singh while releasing the special manifesto for Baramullah Parliamentary election said neither autonomy nor self rule are the answer for the internal arrangement and progress, the state needs reorganization on the basis cultural, linguistic and geographical identity.
