| GPB concerned about Sikhs of Pak | | | Early Times Report Jammu: Former president Jammu and Kashmir Gurdwara Parbandhak Board (GPB) Sudershan Singh Wazir in a fax message has expressed serious concern over the prevailing atrocities over the Sikhs and Hindus of Pakistan by Taliban in the name of Jazia. Statement read that during the regime of Maharaja Ranjit Singh no such tax or Jazia was charged upon any community of Pakistan. Wazir in his statement has urged upon the Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh to send a delegation to Pakistan to take issue of security and safe return of the minority communities to their native places. According to his statement about 150 families of Sikhs are staying in Gurdwara of Pakistan. Wazir statement also appealed various Sikh organizations to continue the protest till the matter is not solved. He urged upon the Sikhs of Jammu and Kashmir to unite under one roof and fight till the issue is resolved with dignity and peace.
