Randhawa initiates lane, drain work in Channi

Jammu, Sept 22: In a significant step towards improving civic infrastructure, MLA Bahu Constituency, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today formally commenced the lane and drain construction work in Sector-1A, Channi, Ward No. 51. The initiative aims to enhance sanitation and ease of movement for the local residents.
The inaugural event witnessed the presence of senior officials from the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and several prominent local dignitaries. Notable attendees included Nitish Mahajan (Mandal President), Raj Kumar (Former Corporator), and Kulveer Charak (District General Secretary), along with other respected local dignitaries.
During his visit, MLA Randhawa also took the time to interact with local residents and listened to various public grievances, particularly regarding water supply issues. He gave a firm assurance that these concerns would be addressed on priority and resolved in coordination with the concerned departments.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Randhawa reiterated his commitment to the all-round development of the Bahu constituency. He stressed the importance of strong public infrastructure to improve the quality of life and emphasized the timely and high-quality execution of all developmental projects. He also appreciated the active participation of local leadership and community support in identifying key development priorities.
Local residents expressed their gratitude for addressing a long-pending demand and hailed the initiative as a major relief during the rainy season.
The work will be carried out under the supervision of the JMC, ensuring adherence to quality standards and completion within the stipulated timeframe.
