All India AAI Inter Zonal Athletics Meet 2025-26

Jammu, Sept 22: It gives us immense pleasure to inform that the Airports Authority of India (AAI) through its Regional Sports Control Board, Western Region is organising the All India AAI Inter Zonal Athletics Meet 2025-26 from 21.09.2025 to 25.09.2025 at Mumbai.
There are 6 Regional Zonal Teams of 16 Men & 8 Women players + 1 Team Manager are participating in the said Meet. Across the country 25 men and women players of AAI including Team Managers from each zone/ Region are participating in the Meet. The Athletics Meet consists of various Track and Field events and Aquatics events for men and women.
Today, 22nd Sept 2025, the Inauguration of the event has done by Hon'ble Member (HR), Dr. Srinivas Hanumankar, AAI as Chief Guest along with Dr. S P Choudhury, Regional Executive Director, WR & President- RSCB, WR along with all the General Managers and HODs and Rep. Of AAEU of Western Region at 10.00 am at Priyadarshini Park, Malabar Hill, Mumbai. Member (HR) and RED, WR have encouraged the participants for active participation inspite of adverse weather conditions in the event with utmost care and safety considering the weather conditions.
He also praised Team RSCB, WR for their efforts and encourage them. The Athletics Torch representing Unity & Solidarity was handed over by Cheif Guest Hon'ble Member HR sir to Ms. Gazala-the Women of the Player of Last Athletics Meet which was carried further by Man and Women of the Tournament of last 2 Athletics Meet. After the flag off by Member (HR) and RED, WR alongwith HODs, The Chief Guest Member (HR) declared *"The All India AAI Inter Zonal Athletics (Men & Women) Meet 2025-26 is OPEN"*.
