Thannamandi, Sept 22: To mark Seva Parv and celebrate Gandhi Jayanti, the Shikshit Bharat Literary Committee in collaboration with the Department of Political Science organized a Quiz Competition on the theme “Life and Legacy of Mahatma Gandhi” at Govt. Degree College Thannamandi under the guidance of Principal Dr. Farooq Ahmed. Team B comprising Jabran Khan (Sem 5th), Asma Shabir (Sem 3rd), and Mehak Fatima (Sem 1st) clinched the first position, followed by Team D (Iram Farooq, Saiba Kouser, and Sadia Farooq) in second place, while Team C secured the third position.
The event was graced by organizers Prof. Supriya Gupta and Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, conducted by Dr. Ikhlaq Adrees, with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Rumi Dar. It was held under the supervision of Dr. Nazakat Hussain (Vice Principal) and Dr. Naseem Ahmed (Head, Chemistry), with the presence of dignitaries including Prof. Fatima Parveen, Dr. Shiraz Ahmed, and Dr. Mohd Ashraf. |
