| GDC Darhal organizes cleanliness drive | | |

Darhal, Sept 22: Govt. Degree College Darhal today organized a Cleanliness Drive within the college campus as part of the ongoing “Sewa Parv” celebrations. The initiative aimed to spread awareness among students about the importance of cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental responsibility.
The drive was held under the guidance of Principal Prof. Zameer Ahmed Mirza, who appreciated the enthusiastic participation of both students and faculty members. NSS and NCC volunteers actively engaged in cleaning the college premises, classrooms, and surrounding areas, thereby setting an example of community service and collective responsibility. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Taseem Ahmed and Dr. Mohd Akhlaq emphasized that cleanliness is not only an individual responsibility but also a vital step towards healthy living and national development. “Dr. Ghulam Abass, the officiating Principal of the college, lauded the efforts of the organizing units and stressed the importance of such initiatives in fostering environmental consciousness. |
