Jammu, Sept 23: In an impressive function held at Hon’ble Justice Vinod Kumar Gupta Memorial Bar Hall at Jammu Wing of High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, members of the Bar Association alongwith the office bearers paid rich tributes to His Highness Maharaja Hari Singh ji, the last ruler of erstwhile State of Jammu & Kashmir on his 130th birth anniversary. The even begin with paying of floral tributes to Maharaja ji by the office bearers of the association including President K. Nirmal Kotwal, Vice President Baldev Singh, General Secretary Pardeep Majotra, Joint Secretary Anshu Mahajan and Treasurer Rahul Aggarwal. The esteemed members of the Bar were welcomed by Vice President Baldev Singh and General Secretary Pardeep Majotra, who also conducted the proceedings of the ceremony. The gathering was also address by former President Sr. Adv. M.K. Bhardwaj, former General Secretary Advocate Ranjit Singh Jamwal, and Adv. Supriya Singh Chouhan. Speaking on the occasion, President Kotwal remembered Maharaja High Singh Ji and highlighted that how the High Court of Judicature at Jammu & Kashmir was established by the Maharaja Ji in the year 1928, and also shared some anecdotes of Maharaja Ji. Treasurer Rahul Aggarwal presented the vote of thanks and expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Associating to esteemed members for their gracious presence in the function.
