JAMMU, Sept 23: In a swift and well coordinated action, police from Police Station Domana apprehended a drug peddler during a special naka laid at Muthi, recovering approximately 52 grams of heroin (chitta-like substance) from his possession.
Acting on reliable information, the naka team intercepted the accused, identified as Vishal Singh, son of Balwant Singh, resident of Indra Nagar, Satwari,Jammu. He was allegedly roaming in the area with narcotics, with the intention of selling them for wrongful gain.
In this connection, FIR No. 208/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Domana.
Police said that further investigation is underway to unearth the forward and backward linkages of the drug network. |
