| NMC demands removal of anomalies in SRO-93 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu: President National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri urged upon the Chief Minister (CM) Omer Abdullah to intervene personally to ensure that all anomalies in SRO-93 are removed to satisfy all the sections of employed class.
Addressing a workers rally Shastri appreciated CM for issuing timely SRO with regards to implementation of Sixth Pay Commission report. He said implementation of report has developed good relations between government and working class.
Pleading to bring all state employees at par with central government employees Shastri urged for 20% HRA, release of DA from January, children education allowance, transport allowance, LTC and bonus. Besides the economic condition of the daily-wagers, causal laborers, adhoc and consolidated laborers has turned pathetic due to non payment of salaries, said Shastri and added urged upon the CM to take measures to ensure the early release of their salaries. He said in this regard several departments have already marched protest rallies to highlight there legitimate demands.
