Jammu, Sept 25: 84 Bn CRPF is deployed in J&K since 2010, with its Bn Hq established at Chatha Jammu and its Coys are deployed in Ramban District and performing operationally very sensitive ROP duty on NH 44. The Bn is ensuring smooth passage of SF convoys and other vehicles in Ramban District of J&K. On 25 Sep 2025, under the aegis of Swachhta Hi Seva 25 campaign, 84 Bn CRPF organized mass cleanliness drive at Govt Higher Secondary School Chanderkote Ramban district, J&K. The drive was led by Sh A K Dixit Second in Command, Sh Vikram Singh Second in Command and more than 50 Officers, Subordinate Officers and Other Ranks participated in the drive. With the theme of “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Sath”, the drive was conducted at School area by cutting grass, collecting garbage, polybags, etc. More than 160 participants of 84 Bn CRPF, School children, local civilians took part in the cleanliness campaign. During the drive, while interacting with the participants, Second in Command highlighted that all the citizens must join hands, to work towards a clean and green India, by undertaking shramdaan activities through a jan andolan, with community participation. Sh Abdur Rehman Principal, teachers and children of Govt Higher Secondary School Chanderkote expressed their gratitude and happiness, for the drive conducted, under the initiative of 84 Bn CRPF.
