| Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan organised at PHC Dansal | | |

Jammu, Sept 25: Under the direct supervision of the Chief Medical Officer Jammu, the Block Medical Officer Dansal Dr Manzoor hussain .today successfully organised a mega health camp at Primary Health Centre Dansal as part of the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan.
A team of senior specialists from Government Medical College Jammu were deputed to PHC Dansal where they conducted comprehensive health check-ups for the attending patients. The camp focused on women’s health and family well-being, aiming to strengthen preventive healthcare measures in the region.
In addition to specialist consultations, various health services including NCD screening, Hemoglobin testing, and ABHA ID generation were carried out by frontline healthcare staff. A dedicated team from the CDPO Office Dansal also actively participated in the camp, with particular emphasis on the Government of India’s flagship initiative Anemia Mukt Bharat. The CDPO Dansal personally attended the camp, reinforcing the importance of convergent action for combating anemia among women and children.
Both RBSK Teams also screened 0 to 18 years children during the SNSPA.
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community and was widely appreciated as a significant step towards ensuring the health and empowerment of women, thereby laying the foundation for stronger families and healthier communities.
