| GDC Ramnagar organises Nukkad Naatak on cleanliness | | |

Ramnagar, Sept. 25: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College Ramnagar, under the Sewa Parv initiative in the spirit of Viksit Bharat @2047, organised a Nukkad Naatak (Street Play) on the theme of Cleanliness. The event was aimed at spreading awareness among students and the local community about the importance of cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental responsibility.
The volunteers of the NSS Unit enthusiastically performed the play, delivering strong social messages on sanitation, waste management, and the role of citizens in keeping their surroundings clean.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Bhavnaish Chand Anthal, Principal of GDC Ramnagar, appreciated the initiative of the NSS Unit and motivated the students to be the torchbearers of cleanliness and community service. He emphasized that such programmes not only create awareness but also instill a sense of responsibility among young citizens towards building a cleaner and healthier nation.
The programme was coordinated by Prof. Ritika Mahajan (NSS Programme Officer), along with Dr. Sunil Kumar, Prof. Tanmeet Kour, Prof. Anice Ahmad and Prof. Sanjay Malhotra. Their collective efforts ensured the success of the event, which highlighted the significance of youth participation in driving social change.
The event concluded with a pledge by the students to carry forward the message of cleanliness beyond the campus and encourage others to contribute to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. |
