Early Times Report KALAKOTE, Sept 25: As part of the ongoing SEVA PARV campaign, the Municipal Committee Kalakote, in collaboration with the Community Health Centre (CHC) Kalakote, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp today. The camp was held under the visionary leadership of Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah (IAS), Administrative Secretary to the Government, Health & Medical Education Department; Shri Baseer Ul Haq Chaudhary (IAS), Mission Director, NHM J&K; Sh. Abhishek Sharma (IAS), District Development Commissioner, Rajouri; and Dr. Abdul Hameed Zargar, Director Health Services, Jammu; and Dr. M.L. Rana, Chief Medical Officer, Rajouri. The camp was inaugurated by Sh. Mohd Tanwir(KAS), Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kalakote, in the presence of Sh. Manik Rathore (KAS), Tehsildar Kalakote, and Dr. Iqbal Malik, Block Medical Officer (BMO) Kalakote. Speaking on the occasion, BMO Kalakote expressed gratitude to the officers, volunteers, and donors for their active participation. He highlighted the importance of blood donation as a noble cause that saves countless lives. Notably, Tehsildar Kalakote, SHO Kalakote Dr. Wasim Chouhan, along with several volunteers, came forward to donate blood, setting an inspiring example for the community. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents and volunteers, reflecting the spirit of service and solidarity promoted under the SEVA PARV campaign. |
