Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 26: On Sept. 26, 2025, K.C. College of Education observed 'World Environmental Health Day', the day declared by the International Federation of Environmental Health to be celebrated each year. On this occasion, the Environmental Club of K.C. College of Education organized a symposium for 3rd semester students. The theme of the seminar was "Beat the Plastic Pollution" which is related to this year's "World Environmental Health Day theme, i.e. Clean Air, Healthy People". Seven students from 3rd semester namely Tanu Bhau, Kajal Dagotra, Vanshika, Akarshani Devi, Nissa Din, Muskan Sharma & Akriti Sharma participated in the Symposium and presented their views on the topic in the full spirit & enthusiasm. This activity aimed to raise awareness about the critical connection between public health & environmental factors such as clean air, water and soil. Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the college Dr. Sanjay Tickoo highlighted the impact of environmental conditions on human well being and to promote environmental protection. Dr. Puja Sharma, Convenor of the Club, who convened the whole programme, appreciated the presentations made by the participants. |
