JAMMU, Sept 26: The Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKRETTF) has expressed its gratitude to Education Minister Ms. Sakina Itoo, Secretary School Education Mr. Ram Niwas Sharma (IAS), and Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G.N. Itoo for issuing the promotion order of 383 teachers to the Master Grade in the Kashmir Division.
Forum spokesperson Muzafar Wani said that Forum Chairman Farooq Ahmad Tantray has termed the move as the fulfillment of a long-pending demand. He also expressed hope that the pending promotion list of teachers in the Jammu Division will be released soon.
The issued list also includes the names of Forum Chairman Farooq Ahmad Tantray, District President Shopian Farooq Ahmad Itoo, Senior Executive Bahir Ahmad (Budgam), Khurshid Zaman, and several other representatives. On this occasion, the Forum extended heartfelt congratulations to all promoted teachers, especially its Chairman and other office bearers whose names figured in the list.
The Forum maintained that these promotions would not only help in filling vacant posts in the department but would also strengthen the educational setup. It added that the promises made by the Education Minister and departmental officers are being practically fulfilled.
The Forum further urged the government to issue the pending promotion list of the Jammu Division at the earliest and to expedite promotions to Master Grade, Headmasters, Zonal Education Officers, Principals, and other vacant posts.
