Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 26: The volunteers of " Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign" is a part of the 75th Independence Day grand celebrations termed Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was honoured during a programme organized by Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages , The event was held at Abhinav Theatre complex, Jammu, On the occasion, nine top volunteers from different districts of Jammu province were felicitated with Anga Vastram, Mementoes, and Certificates by Members Legislative Assembly Vikram Randhawa and Arvind Gupta in the presence of eminent folk artist Padma Ramalo Ram, Harvinder Kaur, Secretary JKAACL, Sonali Arun Gupta, Additional Secretary JKAACL, Dr. Javaid Rahi, Divisional Head JKAACL Jammu, Ravinder Sharma, Assistant Director, North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala and other dignitaries. The volunteers felicitated were Ravindra Singh, Jawaz Iqbal Wani, Suresh Kumar, Bilal Ahmed Sheikh, Tenzin Sambel, Jagdish Chandra Sharma, Shamim Ahmed, Neelam Kumari, and Srishta Devi. Harvinder Kaur, while welcoming the guests stated Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative. This campaign seeks to make it a more personal affair for the citizen and also emphasize the importance of the commitment of the citizens towards nation-building. Arvind Gupta, stated that as part of Seva Pakhwada, cleanliness is a key priority and urged the students present to take responsibility for keeping their surroundings clean as their contribution to the campaign. MLA Jammu South, Vikram Randhawa, lauded the initiative of JKAACL to honour the volunteers of Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 and said such encouragement would inspire more citizens to participate in future national initiatives. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Javaid Rahi, Divisional Head, JKAACL Jammu, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, volunteers, and NZCC Patiala for their support in making the event a success. |
