Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 26: In a heartening celebration of talent and dedication, BJP J&K UT Vice President Rekha Mahajan along with Yuva Morcha State Vice President, Himja Mengi felicitated Karnika Jamwal, a 15-year-old Kathak prodigy, under the ongoing Seva Pakhwada initiative. The felicitation ceremony recognized Karnika's exceptional achievements in classical dance, highlighting her contribution to preserving and promoting India's rich cultural heritage. Karnika, a student of Presentation Convent School, has been learning Kathak since the age of four and a half. Over the years, her dedication and discipline have earned her eight national gold medals and one international gold medal, establishing her as one of the country's promising young talents in classical dance. Speaking on the occasion, Rekha Mahajan lauded Karnika's accomplishments and said, "It is inspiring to see young talent like Karnika excel at the national and international level. Her dedication reflects the spirit of India's youth who strive for excellence while preserving our cultural heritage."
