RAMBAN, Sept 26: The IRP 16th Battalion, Ramban, organized a programme under the Civic Action Programme (CAP 2025-26) at Battalion Headquarters today. On the occasion, educational kits comprising school bags, notebooks, pens, and other stationery items were distributed among students of five schools of the Pernote area, including Govt. High School Pernote, Govt. Middle School Thalwa, Govt. Mobile Primary School Pernote, Govt. Primary School Auxar Pernote, and Govt. Primary School Sandhami.
The event witnessed the participation of students, teachers, local citizens, and members of civil society. Welcoming the gathering, the officials of the battalion highlighted the importance of such initiatives in motivating students towards academic excellence while also fostering stronger bonds between police and the community.
