A mega free medical camp was organised by NHPC

Jammu. Sept 26: This free medical camp was inaugurated by sh. Ram Swaroop Executive Director NHPC in presence of smt Kanchan Swaroop, sh. Pankaj Bashisht G.M. Civil sh. B.L. Aswal - Retd cheif engineer, Sham lal Basson former Corporator, Amar Deep Singh Sasan CEO diva International Foundation, Harbhabek Dev Singh Director DIF, Hardeep kour Director DIF, sh Sunny sharma (Waive Pharmaceuticals)
While speaking on this occasion sh Ram Swaroop E D NHPC said that large scale devastation was occurred on 26th Aug 2025 and other cloud burst occasions NHPC has tried its best to extend help to flood affected people of different areas such as pargwal sect, marh sector and today’s camp was held in Bahu Fort area, The doctors from different hospitals like Escorts Fortis Amritsar, JK Medicity, Sood eye clinic, Directorate of health services and ISM J &K examined the patients and medicines were distributed free of cost.
It is pertinent to mention here that 100 flood affected families were provided ration kits free of cost sh Ram Swaroop ED NHPC said that some more similar camps will be organised in near future. Sham Lal basson former corporator extended thanks to all doctors and paramedical staff, officers/officials of NHPC, Prominent personalities of Diva International Foundations, Adv. Rajat Ramit and his associates and all those persons who contributed their time and energy to make this function a grand success.
We fully hope that NHPC in collaboration with Diva International Foundation will provide relief to other flood affected areas. Sham basson expressed that NHPC in collaboration with Diva International Foundation had already organised such type of camp in the premises of Gurudwara Shri Guru Ravi Dass ji Maharaj Bahu Fort Jammu wherein 455 persons irrespective of caste creed and color were examined and medicines were distributed free of cost. Those who played important role in this function included prominent persons of NHPC, Diva International Foundation, Adv Rajat Ramit, Sanjeev Kumar and their associates, Joginder Kumar, Harvinder kour, Darshana Devi, Nisha Devi Madhu Devi Mangat Kalsi, Som Kumar.
