GDC Sunderbani organizes medical camp | | | Early Times Report SUNDERBANI, Sept 27: Government Degree College Sunderbani organised a medical camp in the college campus under the banner of 'Sewa Parv' with the aim of promoting health awareness and community welfare in the students. The programme was inaugurated with the formal welcome of BMO Dr. Meena Kumari from Sub-District Hospital Sunderbani. The proceeding of the program conducted by Prof. Atal Bharati. Principal of the college Dr. Vandana Verma delivered the welcome address, appreciating the efforts of the medical team and encouraging students to adopt healthy lifestyles. Dr. Meena Kumari, in her awareness lecture, addressed the students-particularly the female participants-on crucial topics such as anemia and menstrual health. She stressed the importance of a balanced diet to prevent anemia and guided the students on maintaining proper menstrual hygiene. Dr. Meena also advised the use of sanitary pads to promote cleanliness and reduce the risk of infections. Following the session, the medical team conducted free health check-ups, providing valuable guidance to students and staff. A total of 70 students and staff members benefitted from the camp. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Manjeet Singh, Nodal Officer of 'Sewa Parv', who expressed gratitude to the BMO, the medical staff, and the college team for their contribution to the success of the event.
