Crackdown on illegal mining: 2 vehicles seized 9/27/2025 9:50:30 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 27: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Jammu Police seized two vehicles engaged in the transportation of illegally mined material in the jurisdiction of Police Station Jhajjar Kotli, Rural Zone Jammu. Details of the seized vehicles: Dumper JK19/8047 Dumper JK21F/1585 The vehicles were found involved in illegal mining activities, in violation of mining laws. The District Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal action under relevant rules and regulations. Jammu Police reiterated its commitment to act firmly against illegal mining and warned that such drives will continue with greater intensity.
