Samba, Sept 28: Continuing its crackdown against illegal mining on consecutive day, Samba Police has seized five (05) vehicles including three dumpers across the district, which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Samba, SHO PS Vijaypur and SHO PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized three dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21F-7667, JK02CG-7986, JK21H-8683 and two tractor trolleys without Nos. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above-mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
