| Awareness Lecture on Safety Practices in the Laboratory at GCW Udhampur | | |

UDHAMPUR, Sept 28: Department of Chemistry, Government College for Women(GCW) Udhampur, in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organised an awareness lecture on Safety Practices in the Laboratory for the students of B.Sc. Sem-I, III and V in hybrid mode.
The Programme was organized under the able guidance of principal of college Dr. Nalini Pathania.
Resource Person of the programme Neeraj Chagathia presented his views on the topic and made the students aware about the Safety Practices in the Laboratory.
The lecture was aimed at emphasising the importance of safety in the laboratory. Understanding safety protocols ensures proper handling of equipment and chemicals.
He wanted to make everyone aware of emergency procedures. The goal was to create a safe and responsible lab environment for all.
Earlier, the session commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Indu Khajuria, Head of the Department. Dr. Monika Gupta, Dr. Madhvi Bhardwaj and Dr. Ujwal Manhas also graced the occasion with their presence.
The proceedings concluded with a formal vote of thanks presented by Dr. Ajay Kumar. |
