Plantation, cleanliness drive organises by Forest Department Samba, GDC Ramgarh | | | early times report
Samba, Sept 29: In a dedicated effort towards environmental conservation and community engagement, a Plantation Drive was successfully conducted at Government Degree College (GDC) Ramgarh by the Forest Block/Range Purmandal, Samba Forest Division in collaboration with the Eco-Club and NCORD Unit of GDC Ramgarh, under the larger initiative of "Seva Parv". The event was organized under the supervision and guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol and Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Samba, Mr. Sagar Singh, and saw enthusiastic participation from faculty members, students, and officials. The plantation activity was complemented by a Cleanliness Drive at the revered Baba Sidh Goria Shrine, Swankha, reinforcing the values of environmental responsibility and community service. Dr. Shivali Panjgotra, Convener, Eco-Club, and Dr. Snobar, Convener, NCORD Unit of GDC Ramgarh, played instrumental roles in coordinating the event. Prof. Sandeep Kumari, Head of the Department of Education, also actively participated in the plantation drive, encouraging student involvement and awareness about sustainability.
