Chandigarh, Sept 29: The Student Council and Hostel Committee of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women hosted a vibrant Garba Night to foster the spirit of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat. On this occasion, students presented captivating performances of traditional garba and dandiya dances. The entire college campus resonated with enthusiasm and joy. The colourful attire and melodious music infused the evening with a perfect blend of cultural diversity and youthful energy. Faculty members also joined the students in dancing to the rhythmic beats of garba, making the evening even more memorable. On this occasion, Officiating Principal Ms. Neena Sharma appreciated the efforts of the Student Council and Hostel Committee. She remarked that dance is not merely a medium of entertainment but also an expression of youthful energy, creativity, and togetherness. Dance, she said, connects the mind and body, instilling enthusiasm, confidence, and positivity in students.
