Jammu, Sept 30: The opening ceremony of the All India IPSC Soccer Tournament U-19 for Girls' 2025 was held on 30th September under the spectacular floodlights of the grand ‘Arena’ at Pinegrove School, Dharampur. The distinguished Chief Guest, Ms. Shweta Thakur, HPS, Addl. SP, Central Defence Training Institute, Police Headquarters, Chandigarh, graced the occasion with her presence.
The ceremony commenced with a splendid march past by the participating teams, followed by an inspiring oath-taking ceremony led by Pinegrove’s Sports Prefect, Ashika Sharma. Adding to the grandeur, the Band Display proved to be a showstopper—impressive, vibrant, and exciting—featuring Pinegrove Dharampur’s Girls Pipe Band and Boys Brass Band, along with the Boys Brass Band of Pinegrove Subathu.
The evening was vibrant with the opening match, a thrilling encounter in which Pinegrove School registered a commanding 4-0 victory against Emerald Heights School, Indore. Subekcha Limbu of Pinegrove was named Player of the Match for her outstanding performance.
