JAMMU, Sept 30: Our esteemed MLA Haveli, Ajaz Ahmed Jan, today inaugurated the blacktopping work on two vital roads - Khari Karmara and Mangnar, Poonch. Insha'Allah, the works will be completed soon, providing great relief and convenience to the people of the area.
On this occasion, Jan's popular slogan -
"One Block - Five Roads, Five Blocks - Twenty-Five Roads"
- is turning into reality. The tenders for all these roads have already been finalized, and the Public Works (R&B) Department is fully engaged to commence the remaining works without delay.
Speaking to the gathering, Ajaz Ahmed Jan said that road connectivity has been his top priority since it directly impacts education, health facilities, trade, and day-to-day life of the common man. He emphasized that better infrastructure is the foundation of growth and that no area will be left behind in the development process.
Local residents, elders, and youth of the area warmly welcomed this initiative and expressed their gratitude to the MLA for fulfilling their long-pending demand. They said that these developmental works will not only ease transportation but also open new opportunities for economic activities in the region.
On the occasion, officers and engineers of the PWD (R&B) Department Poonch were also present, along with prominent local representatives and citizens, who appreciated the efforts of the MLA in ensuring timely development works. This project marks a significant step forward in ensuring public convenience and boosting the overall development of the region. |
