PMVBRY awareness takes centre stage at EPFO's Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0

SAMBA, Sept 30: The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) today successfully conducted its flagship outreach initiative, Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, at key location in the Union Territory of Jammu. The event, led by Asst. PF Commissioner, Satya Prakash, aimed to extensively educate stakeholders on various EPFO services, schemes, and recent initiatives. Enforcement Officer Devinder Singh, accompanied with the team as District Nodal Officer, aimed to educate employers, employees, and other stakeholders about various EPFO schemes.
The event was held at Conference Hall- Ind Swift Limited, Phase-I, IGC, Samba. More than 30 employers and employees participated in the programme. The programme centred around outlining the objectives, key benefits, and implementation strategy of the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana and improving member services with special emphasis on processes such as Joint Declaration, KYC Updation, UAN Updation and bank account details.
Highlights of the programme Included:
oA deep dive into the structure and purpose of the PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana.
oBenefits for both employers and employees under the scheme.
oOperational procedures and compliance framework.
oThe vital role of employers in fostering formal employment and ensuring social security coverage.
oUAN Activation and Member Services
Devinder Singh, briefed the gathering on the scale and objectives of the scheme. He informed that the scheme has a substantial outlay of Rs 1 lakh crore, aiming to generate 3.5 crore employment opportunities across the country. He urged all stakeholders in Jammu & Kashmir to proactively take advantage of the scheme, which will be operational for two years from 1st August 2025. Notably, for the manufacturing sector, the benefits of the scheme will extend up to four years.
Key representatives Anil Kumar Pandey, Plant Head, and Kamal Sharma, HR (Manager) were present in the program.
Additionally, queries from employees, employers, and company representatives were addressed by the District Nodal Officer.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various sectors, reinforcing awareness and implementation of PMVBRY and EPFO schemes in Jammu Division.
