Mandi Gobindgarh, Oct 1: Desh Bhagat University School of Hotel Management and Tourism successfully organized its alumni meet “Back to Campus” at the university campus. The event brought together former students from various batches, offering them a memorable opportunity to reconnect with their alma mater, faculty members, and fellow alumni.
The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Aman Sharma, Director and Dr. Rupinder Kaur, Associate Professor, followed by a vibrant cultural presentation by current students. Distinguished alumni shared their inspiring success stories and career journeys, while also expressing gratitude to the department for shaping their professional and personal growth.
The event was graced by the presence of the university’s leadership, including Honorable Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur and Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti.They applauded the enthusiastic participation of the alumni and highlighted the importance of strengthening alumni networks for future collaborations, mentorship opportunities, and the university’s overall development.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Gurkiran Singh Mann, followed by a networking lunch. The meet left behind cherished moments of nostalgia, joy, and a renewed sense of belonging to the university community.
