Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Oct 1: A crime and security review meeting was held today at District Police Office Kishtwar, chaired by Senior *Superintendent of Police Kishtwar, Sh. Naresh Singh, JKPS. * Meeting was attended by Addl. SP Kishtwar, Sh. Pardeep Singh Goria, JKPS, SP Ops Kishtwar, DySP Ops Dachan, SDPO Marwah, SDPO Atholi ,Dy. SP Headquarters kishtwar along with SHOs and other concerned staff. Continuing the series of strategic reviews, the session assessed the implementation of previous directives, reviewed the current security scenario, and discussed preparations for forthcoming festival season. Officers shared updates on actions taken since the last meeting and reviewed major crime trends and ongoing investigations. Officers were directed to put more focus on the New Criminal Law and its implementation on the ground. There was special focus on making thorough arrangements for the festive season, discussed deployment of Dusshera festival. SSP Kishtwar directed for more frequent beat patrolling, accurate maintenance of beat books and stronger surveillance. Anti-drug and anti-bovine smuggling efforts were also stressed along with counter-terror measures such as patrolling and CI ops in Hotspot areas. Officers were directed to stay vigilant, act on real-time intelligence and ensure visible field presence to keep law and order under control. The meeting closed with everyone's renewed commitment to maintaining peace and public confidence during the upcoming festivals. |
