Bharat Gandhi ex-MLA and President DCC Ramban has welcomed the government initiative of putting the back waters of the Bagheliar Hydro-Electric Project for boating and ferry services which shall benefit the public of adjoining areas of district Ramban and Doda.
Hailing the said decision about water boats/ferry system in waters of Bhagiliar, the President DCC Ramban Bharat in his statement said this decision of issuing licenses for ferry system shall benefit the public of adjoining areas of district Ramban and Doda particularly to the people of Siraj area who shall not only get an employment avenue but also get a fast mode of reaching to the area in absence of any bridge on river Chenab to reach Siraj area.
Congress leader has also emphasized on the government to develop the newly formed lake a top class tourist attraction to develop tourism in the area which shall open new avenues to the educated youth and shall provide employment to thousands of youth of the area.
