| Indian Army organises blood donation camp | | |

Poonch, Oct 2: On the occasion of National Blood Donor Day, the Indian Army, in collaboration with BEE ENN General Hospital Blood Centre, organized a blood donation camp at Galuthi.
The initiative aimed to promote voluntary blood donation, bolster blood bank reserves and reaffirm the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the nation’s citizens. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the troops, exemplifying their spirit of service beyond the call of duty.
The camp was closely supervised by Medical Officers from the Indian Army, along with a team of one Medical Officer and three blood technicians from BEE ENN General Hospital.
The team ensured that only medically fit individuals were involved in the donation process, guaranteeing the highest standards of safety and care. Blood collection, processing and storage were conducted with precision by the hospital’s technical experts.
As part of the camp’s educational efforts, a general awareness session was held to emphasize the critical importance of voluntary blood donation and its role in saving lives during medical emergencies and treatments.
